RANDY WIESER, 57, of Waco, died Friday, February 8, 2002. Services were held at 3:00pm, Monday, February 11 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Waco with Rev. Wallace Sheal officiating. Burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation was 5:00-7:00pm Sunday, February 10 at WILKIRSON­HATCH-BAILEY, 6101 Bosque Blvd., Waco, Texas, 76710. Mr. Wieser was born March 21, 1944 in Dallas to Henri & Jeanette Wieser. He graduated from Highland Park High School in 1962, where he was high school All American center on the football team. He graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1966 where -- he attended on a football scholarship. He served in the Marine Corps Reserves. He had been in the commercial real estate brokerage business in Waco for over 30 years. He was presently employed at Coldwell Banker Commercial Jim Stewart Realtors. He was certified CCIM & MM & served as past president of Waco Board of Realtors. Mr. Wieser was a faithful member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, where he served on the church council. Randy was an avid golfer & died doing what he loved. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Suzanne. Survivors: wife, Phyllis of Waco; sons, Keith Wieser & wife Kathie of Dallas, Steven Wieser & wife Melissa of Houston, Dr. Eric Wieser of Nashville, Tenn.; 3 step-sons, Vance Knowles of Austin, Carter Knowles of Houston, Stewart Knowles of Waco; 3 grandchildren, Ryan Sarah Wieser, Lukas Wieser & Jakob Wieser. Pallbearers: John Wicklund, Dr. David Gardner, Mac Hughes, Dr. Richard Spinn, John Maddux, & Glen Land, Sr. Memorials may be made to the Denton State School or St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
