Karen Kipp Karen Kipp McCann died on March 17, 2015.
She was the daughter of Mary Beth and Dean Kipp and
married Donald R. McCann, Jr. on June 25, 1966.
Karen is survived by her husband, children Christina
Miller, Scott McCann and Kimberly Gannon, and 7
grandchildren. Karen graduated from Highland Park
High School and Old Miss University. After raising
her children in Asia for 27 years, Karen retired in
Dallas where she was an active volunteer at Highland
Park Presbyterian Church. Karen will be remembered
for the highest value that she placed in her faith
and family. The Family would like to thank the
Doctors and Staff of UT Southwestern Medical and MD
Anderson Cancer Center in Houston for their amazing
care and support. Funeral Services will take place
on Tuesday, March 24 at 1 pm at Highland Park
Presbyterian Chu-rch. Reception immediately to
follow. Please come wearing bright colors in Karen's
honor. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in
her name to the 'The Foundation at HPPC, The Mary
Beth and Dean Kipp Fund' 3821 University Blvd
